Mini Story Club
Learn with German Stories A1 to B2
Experience the magic of story-based learning inspired by the TPRS method (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) in our Mini Story Club. Using three powerful techniques – Question & Answer, Point of View (POV), and the Color-Coded Technique.
Fully translated audio stories help you absorb grammar effortlessly, so you can speak confidently without overthinking rules.
The POV Technique introduces stories from different perspectives, helping learners understand changes in verb endings, such as from ‘ich gehe’ to ‘du gehst’ to ‘er geht’.
The Question and Answer Technique simulates conversations, improving speaking skills by encouraging responses aloud, thus training the brain to think in German—a critical step towards fluency.
Meanwhile, the Color-Coded Technique helps learners quickly and effectively understand words within their context, allowing even complex sentences to be immediately grasped and retained, thus accelerating the learning progress.

Micro Story Club
Listen to German Stories for Beginners
Get ready for Micro Stories, a brand-new category of short texts—each just a few sentences long—tailored to levels A1 and beyond.
Beneath each story, you’ll find a brief explanation (Grammar Spotlight) of a key language element, such as a specific grammar point or sentence structure, giving you deeper insights into the German language.
Here’s why Micro Stories could be a game-changer for your language learning journey:
Bite-Sized Learning – These concise stories fit perfectly into your busy schedule, allowing for repeated listening or reading sessions, even when time is scarce.
Focused Attention – Shorter learning units make it easier to stay concentrated, ensuring a more effective learning experience.
Digestible Grammar – With targeted grammar tips accompanying each story, complex topics become more approachable and easier to grasp.

German Song Club
Dive into the melodic world of German language with the “German Song Club”. Tailored for intermediate and advanced students, this club offers an engaging platform for expanding your vocabulary while soaking in the culture through popular German tunes.
We all know that repetitions play a pivotal role in language learning, embedding new information deep into your long-term memory. However, mundane repetitions can sometimes turn monotonous, making the learning process less appealing. That’s where the “German Song Club” swoops in with its catchy beats! The fun of tuning into a captivating song transforms repetition into an enjoyable experience, infusing motivation into your learning journey.
The “German Song Club” goes beyond just listening – it offers two types of translations into English for each song: regular and literal.
Literal Translation (see second image): ← While a literal translation might not always make sense in English, it can be an incredibly effective tool in language learning. A literal translation enables you to identify the significance of individual words and perceive the structural differences in sentence construction between the two languages. This technique provides a deeper understanding of German grammar and syntax.
Regular Translation (see second image) ← By providing a regular English translation, we ensure that you comprehend the meaning of the German sentences and phrases in a practical context, aiding your conversational fluency.

German Grammar Club
In my stories and lessons, I use special methods and techniques to teach you German in a natural way – just like native speakers learn their language.
This means you don’t have to worry too much about complex grammar terms.
But as you learn more German, you might:
- become curious about why things are said in certain ways,
- or you may need to grasp these concepts for a language proficiency exam.
That’s when the ‘German Grammar/Exercise Club’ becomes useful – it offers structured German online lessons to explain grammar topics step by step, with clear examples and fun exercises.
Vocab Vault Club
Included in LGE Premium
The ‘Vocab Vault Club’ is designed to boost your “active vocabulary” – these are the essential words you not only recognize but can actively use in German conversations.
Unlike the more extended stories in the ‘Mini Story Club’, lessons here are shorter, making them an excellent choice for those moments when you’re pressed for time.
Always remember: dedicating even just 10 minutes a day to learning can make a vast difference in the long run.
Question and Answer Technique
The Question and Answer Technique helps you to improve your speaking skill!
It is like a simulated conversation. By answering the questions aloud, you train your brain to think in German. Being able to think in German is the key to fluency.
