Basic German Units
The German Word: ist – Der Himmel ist blau
In this unit you will learn some easy German sentences like:
"Der Himmel ist blau".
The English word "is" is almost the same in German,
you just have to add the letter "t" ("is" = "ist").
Tip: Try always to imagine the situations in your mind,
it will help you to remember the words!

Der Nordpol ist sehr (very) kalt.
Und ist die Hölle kalt oder heiß?
